Tennis at Case Center at the University of Tulsa

To recognize Oklahoma contributions to Olympic Tennis, the Tulsa Games would host tennis at the University of Tulsa campus.
The 2016 IOC Candidate city bid package listed a minimum seating capacity of 10,000 seats for Tennis finals, 5,000 seats for court 1, and 3,000 seats for court 2, with 172 athletes.
Ticket sales during the Atlanta 1996 Olympics totaled 162,389 tickets.(see page 554, or 559 in Adobe reader). A new tennis facility was built 18 miles east of Atlanta, at the Stone Mountain Tennis Center. The finals facility could seat 27,500. The highest number of tickets spectators for an event was 17,531 sold.(see page 554, or 559 in Adobe reader)
The Tulsa2024 Exploratory committee proposes to use TU’s existing 30,000 seat Skelly Stadium for the Tennis finals, the existing 8,355 seat Reynolds Center stadium for court 1, and temporarily expanding TU’s existing 2,000 seat Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium for court 2 from 2,000 to 3,000 seats.
The University of Tulsa has dorm beds to accommodate the 172 athletes, and their coaches.
