Olympic handball arena at the BOk center Tulsa OK

The 2016 IOC candidate city bid package listed a minimum seating requirement for Handball preliminaries at 6,000 seats, and 10,000 seats for the finals, with 336 athletes. 

During the Atlanta Olympics, Handball was hosted in the Georgia World Congress Center with 7,300 seats available, with net spectator sales of 6,400. Ticket sales totaled 186,901. see page 540 (555 in adobe reader)  of the Atlanta 1996 report.

For the Tulsa Olympics, Handball could be hosted in the award winning BOK Center Tulsa, with 19,199 available seats.

The preliminary Handball events could be held at the Cox Business Center (formerly named Tulsa Convention Center) with a 8,900 seat capacity. The preliminary Handball events have a 6,000 seat requirement per the IOC. This IOC allows the sport of boxing to share the handball preliminary venue.
